AltStore PAL, an official marketplace (EU and Japan only)
AltStore PAL is an Apple-approved alternative marketplace in the EU (iOS 17.4+) and Japan. It doesn't work in Vietnam. Requirements and setup steps.

Laws in the European Union (EU) and Japan require Apple to allow alternative app marketplaces. AltStore PAL is one of them. It’s the official route: no certificate, nothing to get revoked.
Requirements
- In the EU: iOS 17.4 or later.
- In Japan: iOS 26.2 or later. We haven’t verified this ourselves.
- A fee of roughly €1.50 per year (Apple’s fee for marketplaces). Pricing may change.
Installation steps

Open AltStore's site Safari only
Open Safari and go to:
https://altstore.io/Tap the download button for AltStore PAL.

Allow the marketplace
iOS asks whether to allow marketplace installs from this developer. Follow the on-screen prompt to open Settings and allow it.

Install AltStore PAL Safari only
Go back to Safari, reload the page and confirm Install App Marketplace.

Add sources and install apps
Open AltStore PAL and follow the payment prompt if there is one. Then add developer sources under Sources and install apps.
