Install problems

Tapping install does nothing

You are almost certainly not in Safari: it may be the in-app browser of Zalo, Facebook or Messenger, or Chrome. See how to open links in Safari.

“Unable to Install [app name]”

This usually has one of these causes:

  • The certificate has been revoked.
  • You use a personal certificate but your device’s UDID isn’t registered.
  • The IPA is broken or doesn’t support your iOS version.
  • Your storage is full.

Try a different IPA. If it still fails, the certificate is the most likely cause.

The profile won’t install, or there’s no “Profile Downloaded”

Profiles must be downloaded in Safari and installed within 8 minutes. Download it again in Safari, then immediately open Settings and tap Profile Downloaded near the top.

Problems opening apps

“Untrusted Enterprise Developer”

Follow trusting an app.

iOS asks for Developer Mode, or the option is missing

See turning on Developer Mode. The option only appears after you install a development-signed app.

The app opens and immediately closes, or says it’s “no longer available”

The certificate was almost certainly revoked. Re-sign with a valid certificate. If you use TrollStore, open TrollStore and tap Refresh App Registrations.

“Unable to Verify App”

Check your Internet connection and try again; the iPhone needs Internet to check the certificate. If it keeps failing, the certificate may have been revoked.

“VPN & Device Management” is missing

It only appears once a profile or enterprise app is installed. Install the app first, then come back.

General questions

Is this jailbreaking?

No. None of the methods on this site jailbreak your iPhone. TrollStore does use an iOS bug, but it doesn’t unlock the whole system like a jailbreak.

Is it safe?

Safety depends mostly on where the IPA comes from and who provides the certificate. A modified IPA can contain malware. Only install from sources you trust, never type your Apple Account password into unknown apps, and be careful with third-party DNS or VPN profiles.

Will updating iOS remove my installed apps?

Certificate-signed apps usually keep working after an update, as long as the certificate is still valid. TrollStore, however, stops working on newer versions, and you can’t downgrade.

I’m in Vietnam. Can I use AltStore PAL?

No. AltStore PAL only works in the EU and Japan.

Does this site provide IPA files or sell certificates?

No. We only explain how to install. See the disclaimer.
